Welcome. I offer Skype Therapy for treating anxiety, for help with beating depression, and for healing from addictions.

On a one to one basis at a time that's suitable for you, I can work with you as a Skype therapist without you having to leave house and additionally. This really is one of the huge advantages of Skype therapy. It means you can get the assistance you need without having to leave residence.

In the event you would like to talk to a Skype therapist and find out more concerning this approach do please visit my site and contact me and ask any questions you might have about Skype therapy and how to begin working with a Skype therapist and how this system can help you particularly.

The majority of my customers are fighting with anxiety or depression; some are experiencing dependence too. Perhaps most of the individuals who choose online therapy are struggling with anxiety.

Mindfulness Therapy is a method of actually breaking those habitual patterns of psychological reactivity that lie in the center of our anxiety or depression. These heart emotions that are underlying fuel our reactive thinking process as well as our behavioral reactivity, including dependence, and in general create great difficulties in the characteristic of our life.

You've got to learn the best way to alter these underlying mental customs if you would like to effectively break free from anxiety. The mental habits come first, not thoughts. Ideas are the product of the emotion, just as the addictive behaviors are the product of an emotion that is underlying that is extreme. The key is to alter that emotion.

Everything depends on changing the underlying emotion, and that is where Mindfulness Therapy comes in.

It's how you see the emotion, the beliefs and thoughts in the mind. That vision is what holds the emotional energy together and creates an emotional charge to the thought or or belief or behavior.

So, it's vision that really runs emotions. Discovering the arrangement of the imagery beneath your emotions is completely central, and that is what we focus on when we apply mindfulness to our emotions. We examine the imagery underneath the emotion that creates that emotion. And, naturally , the more you can uncover this imagery, the more which you can change the emotion.

It's very challenging to change an emotion since it doesn't have any specific kind, it's only an energy. But it is not impossible to alter vision because that does have form, it's very concrete. And, recall, when you change the inner psychological vision, you change the intensity of the emotion. Alter that the anxiety or depression or dependence and also imagery enough will go away.

We call it Investigating the Image Structure of your Emotions.

 Thank you.

Most of the time we do not do this. We fall into habits of avoidance or aversion; emotions that are painful aren't liked by us, we try to run away from them, we try to suppress them, prevent them at all costs. But this has very negative consequences. If you avoid your emotions they cannot fix; they need your conscious knowledge to be able to transform, in order to treat.

Welcome. Are you looking for Skype therapists to work with? There are now many therapists that offer online psychotherapy using Skype or other video conferencing platforms. It's becoming increasingly popular. On of the reasons for this is of course convenience. It is so much more convenient for you, the client to be able to organize a Skype therapy session from home, without having to travel to the therapist's office. And, if you are living in a rural area, or living abroad, then there may not be therapists available in your local area, and so the idea of being able to talk to a therapist online over Skype is very attractive indeed.

So, when you are considering which Skype therapist to work with you should make sure that you can correspond with them first of all and get a sense of whether the particular therapist you are interested in is able to help you with your specific problems, that you feel like you have an understanding and some kind of relationship in which they care for your welfare. You want to find someone who is going to work with you on a personal level during these Skype therapy sessions.

There are now an increasing number of Skype therapists to choose from. But not all are necessarily going to offer you the service that you need. So, please make sure that you talk with them first of all, perhaps set up a trial session, like I offer, so you can get to know the therapist and determine for yourself whether this feels right for you.

The other thing too, when you are thinking about working with a Skype therapist is to have them explain in more detail the style of therapy that they offer online.

Some forms of psychotherapy work extremely well over Skype, such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, or CBT, and Mindfulness Therapy, which is what I teach online. These particular styles of therapy are really based very much on helping teach you practical tools for managing emotional reactivity and to manage cognitive reactivity as well.

So, those work extremely well and can be taught online just as well as they can in the office. But other forms of psychotherapy don't work so well online, and they require much more of a personal relationship, such as psychoanalysis, or some form of body-centered psychotherapy would not work very well over Skype. So, find the kind of therapy that works for you.

The style of psychotherapy that I offer online is called Mindfulness Therapy and this really is a way of working with the underlying cause of anxiety and depression. It's quite different than conventional talk therapy. We are not just going to be talking about your emotional well-being and how to change things. Rather we are going to look at the underlying structure of your emotions - how they work.

If you want to produce real change, you have to change that underlying structure, the underlying process that creates the anxiety or depression, and no about of talking about it is going to make very much difference. You have to actually look at how it works.

So, in Mindfulness Therapy that is exactly what we do during the Skype therapy sessions. I will guide you in how to explore the structure of your anxiety or depression or other emotion, and particularly looking at the imagery of that emotion. Imagery is a very, very important factor in the structure of emotions. It's how you see things in the mind, internally at the psychological level that determines the strength and the power of the emotion.

If the imagery is, for example, large and above you then you are likely to feel overwhelmed by that emotion. Literally, that's why we say the word, "feeling overwhelmed" or feeling that "things are getting onto of me", because we actually see the emotions like that in the mind.

So, when you start to explore the structure of your emotions, when you start to look at this imagery, then you begin to open up a whole opportunity for changing that structure, and when you change the emotional imagery you will change the emotion itself.

So, that's one part of Mindfulness Therapy - investigating the image structure of your emotions. And as I say, talking about your emotions is just not the same as actually looking at them to find this imagery. So, that's one kind of approach that we use.

So, if you are interested in Skype therapy and you would like to talk to a therapist online, do please go to my website (the link is below) and CONTACT ME and then we can schedule a Skype therapy session.

Working with Skype therapists is a wonderful opportunity, a different way of managing your emotional well-being and  it works extremely well. So, please go to my website and CONTACT ME. Thank you.

Mindfulness-based Skype Therapists

Skype Therapist can help you overcome anxiety and depression

There are a growing number of Skype therapists now offering Skype-based Mindfulness-centered Online Therapy. This approach has gained tremendous popularity over the past few years. It gives the tools you have to handle depression, anxiety and mental tension in the comfort of your own house and it is a lot less expensive.

The advantage of Online Mindfulness Therapy is among the very cited reasons why an increasing number of individuals are turning to this first. Whatever you need is a notebook with Skype installed (free download) and you're able to begin. Many people would enjoy the opportunity of working on resolving pressure, depression, anxiety, their mental difficulties or past trauma but just would not have the time to commute to and from a therapist's office. Online Mindfulness Treatment enables me to work with customers from all over America, as well as helping clients in Europe, Australia, South Africa and beyond. We then contact through Skype to begin a session and correspond through e-mail to work out a convenient time. It is not incredibly complex, and what is more amazing is that the Skype video-call service is free. Payment for sessions is, in addition, easy to make online through PayPal, which is extremely secure.

Talk to a therapist via Skype

Aside from the convenience, Online Treatment is typically considerably less intimidating than sitting in a waiting room and going to some therapist's office. It is important the customer feels comfortable and in control, and Online Treatment, which in several ways is a kind of Life Coaching, is as natural as visiting the area Recreation Center for a good workout. The client controls the whole procedure and this is empowering, which can be not unimportant for the transformational process. Running a treatment/coaching session in the familiar surroundings of one's dwelling or office helps the customer get in touch with her or his feelings, which is of course vital for great treatment and is also more conducive.

Most online sessions really are a combination of therapy and counseling. As a mindfulness-based therapist, I switch between truly being a teacher, mentor and counselor, providing instruction and guidance on the use of mindfulness for resolving difficult emotions in the core level. That's one aspect of the work of on-line therapy. The other involves experiential work together with the customer, helping her or him get connected with core emotions to facilitate their resolution through mindfulness -based techniques. Because clients feel so much more at ease in the comfort in their home, this strategy works especially well in Skype video sessions.
Another feature of treatment that is online is the fact that clients are invited to e-mail me in-between sessions should they have some questions regarding the homework assignments they are given. This way the healing procedure has continuity, which can be lacking in more conventional tactics, as well as the customer believes they have a buddy and coach to turn to when the need arises.

Feeling comfortable with the therapist/instructor/teacher is essential and in my Online Mindfulness Therapy sessions, I take great attempts to reply my client's questions throughout a session or through e-mail. It's my policy that she or he should feel great about each session and that each session should bring some real improvement for the customer. That after all is the key component that you ought to use to decide whether any therapist, online or in-person, is right for you. What matters is that you just feel that you've benefited from every individual session. Most clients who come to me find major progress within 4-5 sessions, not 4- 5 years as in some forms of normal speaking therapy.

The focus of internet therapy/training is on teaching customers the abilities and tools which help them break free from the grip of other emotions that are difficult or anxiety and depression, and we can all really profit from that. It may not be the very first choice for people that have a clinical state, but most people do not have a mental disease; we only want anyone to talk to who understands and can educate some practical tools for handling the stresses of life along with the psychological challenges inherent in a marriage or other personal relationship. In reality, the demand for good quality counseling and therapy, such as the quite popular mindfulness-based psychotherapy, far outstrips the access to quality providers, which is still another reason that you ought to seriously consider on-line counseling as an option.

Eventually there is the issue of cost. Typically, due to reduce overheads, on-line therapy is greatly less costly than traditional treatment sessions. The only real drawback is that therapy that is online will be covered by few insurance companies, as it's still comparatively new along with the Establishment takes time to embrace innovations.
Most counselors that are online will demand pre-payment to get a session, but I choose to accept payment after having a session. That way, no charge is incurred if a client believes that the service is not appropriate for them. It's another great way of getting to that all-important comfort level where the customer believes that this really is truly the best option for them, which it's for the growing variety of people that need to understand better skills for managing their emotions through online training sessions.

I practice both in-office and online and find both approaches to be equally effective, and there certainly are an increasing number of therapists who feel exactly the same manner and offer both alternatives.

There are many Skype therapists available today, a simple search on Google will reveal a number of therapists and counselors who are available to help you work with anxiety or depression or just to find someone to talk to. Most of these Skype therapy services are really designed to put you in touch with someone who can listen to your emotional problems and provide some useful help and advice on how to deal with your situation. And, that's fine, but I think there is a lot more that Skype therapists can offer.
During the therapy sessions that I offer online I attempt to really teach you very specific mindfulness-based methods for working with difficult emotions. These methods allow you to essentially break those old habits reactive thinking and emotional conditioned reactions that really tend to dominate our emotional well-being.

Mindfulness teaches us how to be more aware, how to develop much more conscious connection with our minds. Typically, we operate on autopilot, we are not really aware, we are not really conscious of our thoughts and emotional reactions. The simply happen to us and this is what we attempt to change during Mindfulness Therapy, which I offer online via Skype.

So, if you are interested in Mindfulness Therapy and working with a Skype Therapist, do please visit my website and contact me and I will be happy to answer your questions and explain to you in more detail how Mindfulness Therapy can help you. Then we can schedule a Skype Therapy Session and I will then guide you through this process and teach you practical, effective ways of working with anxiety or depression, or addictions as well.

Addictions are a classic example of a compulsive-habitual reaction that operates out of awareness. We are not aware of the actual process; we simply suffer the consequences. It's an emotional habit, and this habit, like any other habit; the habit of anxiety, the habit of depression, can be changed.

When you bring more conscious awareness to these habits then it is possible to change them. It is possible to break free of their grip, and this is an essential focus in Mindfulness Therapy.

So, please go to my website, learn more about Mindfulness Therapy and and Skype and when you feel ready, contact me and we can schedule a Skype Therapy Session. Thank you.

Skype Therapists Online

Welcome! My name is Peter Strong and I'm a professional therapist offering online therapy. The very best solution to do so is to locate a therapist who offers therapy sessions that are Skype in the event you'd like to discuss with a therapist online.

Thus, talking to a therapist is one of the best methods to get on-going help for handling challenging psychological problems such as long-term stress, melancholy, and also for help with dependencies too.

Many of my clients live abroad or they reside in the rural areas of the US and find it almost impossible to find a local therapist to help them work with anxiety, depression, addictions or other psychological difficulties.

So, if you are considering knowing more about talking to a therapist online via Skype, do please see my site, which is counselingtherapyonline.com, and also visit my YouTube station and subscribe and learn more about the Mindfulness Therapy approach I offer via Skype.

People seek out this type of treatment alternatively to the mature style of talk therapy, which might help with alleviating symptoms but it does very little to alter the underlying reason for your anxiety, depression or dependence. The system of Mindfulness Therapy that I developed many years ago now and talk about in my novel, 'The Path of Mindfulness Meditation', is quite definitely focused on helping your inherent relationship changes to the very process that creates depression or stress.

The central topic of Mindfulness Therapy is learning just how to break the habit to become identified and overwhelmed by habitual reactive believing and by reactive emotions. We tend to get lost in our emotional habits and our ideas and this only feeds the problem that is mental whether it is depression stress or dependence.

So, that's what I focus on in the therapy sessions that are online that I offer via Skype. Please don't hesitate to contact me through e-mail and we can discuss further how the online treatment strategy and Mindfulness Therapy can enable you to handle your emotions more effectively. I anticipate hearing from you. Thank you!

Online Mindfulness Therapy via Skype

Welcome! My name is Peter Strong and I'm a professional registered psychotherapist based in Boulder, Colorado. I offer on-line counseling using Skype.

Have you ever thought about talking to a therapist online? It's a very popular and very good option these days. Lots of people are choosing this as a substitute to a meeting using a therapist in an office. One reason is because you don't have to drive to the therapist's office, it is far more convenient, obviously. You do not have to take the time out. You can call from your workplace, or from home, or wherever you're from your hotel room in case you're traveling abroad. It is a very suitable choice.

With the advent of Skype it is now possible see them at precisely the same time and also to speak to a therapist online. It's really the same as in the event that you were in the office. It has outstanding results, also, in my practice here in Boulder. I've been offering online therapy for several years. As far as I am concerned there's no real difference, particularly if you are educating some kind of mindfulness therapy or cognitive therapy, as I educate, where the emphasis is on teaching the customer abilities to working with their emotions. This can be transmitted online through Skype just as well as it can person-to-person.

The style of treatment that I offer, as I mentioned, is called mindfulness treatment. This is a modern form of CBT, cognitive behavioral therapy, that features this one ability called mindfulness. Really the whole focus of this approach would be to educate you on the way to form a different quality of relationship to your emotions because this is the central problem right here. The majority people react to our emotions. There is a stimulation in the environment, something occurs, someone says something and then immediately you react with an emotional reaction.  Subsequently our life merely run and we feel a sufferer. The entire focus of mindfulness treatment is through seeing them and to learn to see these habitual reactions you start to break free from their grasp. Then you certainly begin to work on the underlying mental energy that fuels that emotional reaction that is habitual. Then the habit cannot keep up itself, when you begin to neutralize this mental energy that fuels the habit and it simply changes itself.

Mindfulness therapy is a good alternative for a lot of folks today. It is becoming quite popular, particularly for treating depression. In case you would like to learn more on the subject of mindfulness therapy and about the process of how to schedule a Skype treatment session with a web-based therapist, please see my website, CounselingTherapyOnline.com, and send me an email through the contact form. Describe the problems which you're coping with and ask your questions about the method of mindfulness therapy. Wherever you reside, in the USA or abroad, we can usually find a good time that may fit your program together with mine. Please go over to my website and contact me today. Thank you.

Mindfulness is an awareness skill that enables you to stop habitual patterns of emotional reactivity, and creates an inner restorative space that helps an emotion transform and resolve itself, bringing about healing in the core level.

Visit my YouTube Channel to learn more about online therapy

Psychotherapy modalities such as CBT attempt to alter them through offering new idea models to the client and showing the irrational nature of the belief and focus on these dysfunctional internal beliefs. However, the true challenge is always in how to alter the related feeling degree that empowers the belief. If this emotional energy stays unchanged then the beliefs and habitual reactivity based on them will only return. Accordingly, to change a belief structure and connected compulsive reactivity, the therapist must help the customer form a high quality relationship with his internal feelings in without falling to the snare of further reactivity, which he is able to discover and learn the feeling. This reactivity that is secondary most commonly takes the form of emotional reactivity ruminative thinking or avoidance.

This is where mindfulness becomes an invaluable tool for both the client and the therapist. Mindfulness is described as the non-reactive present-centered knowledge of an encounter. It is the skill of sensitive listening, being totally present and receptive to whatever has been experienced. In Mindfulness Meditation Therapy, mindfulness is used straight to the felt-sense of the emotion. We decide to make the emotion the main object of our meditation and our task would be to create a relationship with the anger or fear where we enable the emotion to unfold and can find the emotion, with all the emotion. The aim of cultivating the mindfulness-based relationship is so that we show the subtle inner arrangement and can proceed to the deep internal structure from the superficial surface construction of the emotion.

In practice, mindfulness is the sensitive awareness to reactivity itself. It is the craft of always understanding when we become lost in thinking and judging or reacting with aversion or opposition when we become reactive or needing things to be different than they're. Mindfulness permits US to tune into all the subtle movements of delusion, aversion and needing and allows us to return our attention to the primary object, which in this case is the felt-sense of the emotion. We stay at this interface and return to this interface over and over again. The impact of mindfulness, focused this way, would be to open a "space" around the emotion, to cease secondary reactivity and be completely present using the emotion without reacting, without wanting to mend things, without attempting to control matters.

The practice of mindfulness meditation in this manner opens up a curative space that allows for the chance of change. Reactivity inhibits change and keeps things the same; mindfulness counteracts reactivity and restores independence into the head. How an emotion undergoes transformation and resolution is a big topic which is discussed in a different post. Suffice it to say that any emotional complex has got the property of being exceptionally unstable and the psyche is quite efficient if given the freedom to operate at solving instability - and this really is the point that is crucial. Reactivity inhibits the independence to operate, while mindfulness restores the liberty to alter. What exactly is found is that when we've got a continual mindfulness-established relationship with a dissonant emotion, the emotion will spontaneously experience transformation in a direction that leads to its resolution. No freedom, no change.

General Anxiety Disorder is a very common ailment which affects many of us at sometime in our own lives. At any one time it is projected that least 10 million men and women in the US have been diagnosed with GAD and so are actively seeking treatment through medication or some type of cognitive therapy.

In essence perennial anxiety is a form of intense worrying about health, work, fear of the future or a wide range of situations which will occur in the near future that creates an enormous amount of emotional anguish. What exactly can we do to control our stress levels?

It is crucial to understand that tension, like most emotional reactions, has a structure. Correlated Emotional Feeling Energy but is generated by the combination of two components: Consideration constructions, although it is not a random process.

We're all knowledgeable about the routines of negative thinking that is recurring: the consideration loops that maintain and amplify worry and nervousness. This inner conversation can be constant and frequently strikes us in the wee hours of the morning, if we can sleep at all! We become consumed by worry about things that may never occur. But, most of all, the worry thinking doesn't in any way help us deal with all the objective reality of things that need our attention. In reality the reactive thinking makes us able to manage, leaves us feeling confused and drained.

Undoubtedly, the path to controlling anxiety must involve changing beliefs and these internal negative thought loops. However, most folks find this incredibly hard to do. They know in a conceptual level the worry is irrational rather than helpful and is causing them to become ill, but no quantity of self -chat appears to shift the stress. It is because there is another element that is really much more significant compared to the content of beliefs and the negative thoughts: Emotional Feeling Energy. It's this that gives power and meaning to our thoughts, as well as in anxiety formations, large concentrations of emotional energy become attached to beliefs or the words. With this particular understanding, we see that if we could find a way to discharge this energy that is stuck, then the ideas and beliefs will lose their power and compulsive domination of our thinking and will are generally replaced by thoughts that are proper. The negative thought may arise out of custom, but minus the emotional investment, it has nowhere to go and in time it'll fade away.

Focusing on releasing the stuck, frozen psychological energy that has become attached to habitual thinking is just one of the main focuses of Mindfulness Therapy. That is quite important, because we cannot change what we can't see. Thus, we must make our responses by paying very close attention to catch them observable as and when they appear. That is called "sitting together with the emotion." We learn to sit with our stress, without becoming caught up in further reactivity and thinking, or in attempting to assault the negative notions. We are, in fact, learning to turn our focus towards the reaction, and this alters everything.

Jeff, an effective software engineer, suffered from crippling social anxiety and suffered from panic reactions; worrying that he'd freeze up when asked to talk at conventions about his work as well as on the job in group meetings. He'd detect his heart racing and he was obsessed with worry that he would pass out right there in the midst of demonstration or the event. He despised leaving home, despised travelling and was very fearful of any new scenario.

In a session of Mindfulness Therapy, Jeff learned to identify these habitual patterns of stress-producing thoughts and then learned to sit with all the feeling energy that surrounded the thoughts at the heart of the emotional reaction. As he did this, he began to discover details about the inner structure of the feeling energy. They have never actually looked to their feelings before.

What Jeff discovered is that these colours felt hot, and that the apprehensive feeling was definitely associated with intense red and orange, with vivid colors. The more he looked at the feeling, the more he learned about its internal structure. He also seen the way the color seemed to take the kind of a fuzzy cloud, a fog that surrounded his entire body.

This type of detail that is sensory and experiential is vital as they are actual, and Jeff clearly felt these shades resonated together with his stress feeling. The power that results in transformation is definitely in the details, not the subjective ideas or notions about an emotion. When a man says, "I am anxious" they are merely experiencing a trivial amount of the emotion and this can be very difficult to alter because it's indeed subjective. We can experiment with making subtle adjustments to the color and kind of the emotion and track how things changes. In Jeff's case, he found that when he envisioned encompassing the hot coloured feelings that were reddish with the vastness of the night skies the level of his stress fell to 4.

This simple change in his internal imagery allowed him to alter the amount of anxiety radically, and this was followed with a major shift in his perception of the specific situation as well as in his beliefs and self-confidence. The psychological transformations followed this fundamental change in the feeling level, and this really is very typical because the beliefs rely on feeling energy to give them significance and power. As the imagery changes you shift the feeling, so when the feeling energy is released the beliefs and cognition change in direct proportion.

Jeff began to experience himself more as the night skies instead of as the hot spot of anxiety: He starts to see himself as the vast wide presence of the awareness as opposed to the contracted state of psychological reactions. This alters everything.

EXERCISE

1. Take a seat and get comfortable. Shut your eyes. Permit yourself to relax and practice basic mindfulness of breathing to steady the mind.

2. Until it feels like a big space, open the field of your consciousness.

3. Introduce an anxiety emotion into this space and experiment with only sitting with it as you would with a friend: looking and listening really attentively with interest and an open mind.

4. Find the shade that best matches the feeling.

5. Experiment with encircling that color with another colour. Strive the exact reverse colour first in feeling intensity of the anxiety and see the shift.

6. Develop this imagery and attempt other changes in motion, location and size.

7. Continue monitoring the change in intensity -10 scale.

8. Daily see how your perceptions shift.

Now, of course it's simpler to do that with a mindfulness therapist that is skilled, but you'll likely be quite surprised by how quickly things change when you get down to the in-depth sensory amount, made possible through focused mindfulness.

Please e-mail me in case you notice some particularly spectacular effects that you'd like to share and describe your findings. Moreover working with a therapist you can also try this with a buddy, if you can find someone willing to listen and provide that aware existence that's really essential because of this transformational process.

Skype Therapists - Effective Help for Anxiety via Skype

Welcome! My name is Peter Strong, and I'm a professional therapist that is online. I specialize in Mindfulness Therapy for treating anxiety, depression and emotional dependence.

Now, anxiety treatment online is becoming increasingly popular for a lot of reasons, convenience is definitely one among those reasons, but another crucial reason is, obviously, because of the condition itself - stress. Individuals struggling with stress often find it very difficult to see a therapist in her or his office, in person. So the online treatment option may be a very appealing alternative for the treatment of stress and also for other anxiety disorders such as social anxiety disorder and agoraphobia.

Regardless of the style of treatment that you are attracted to, you need to work with the inherent structure of the anxiety itself. Discussion treatment can be useful, but frequently it doesn't look at the underlying arrangement, the procedure that creates your stress each day, and also the exact same might be said for drugs - the underlying procedure doesn't alter, although it may relieve symptoms for awhile. So, it is quite important to seek that which we might call a procedure-centered therapy to try and change the inherent process that creates the anxiety. CBT, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, is an example of a process-oriented treatment. Mindfulness Therapy, which is a system of work that I developed in the 1980's, and comprises CBT cognitive therapy and mindfulness is another, fairly popular procedure-oriented therapy.

So, what's the inherent structure of your stress? What keeps that stress re occurring? Well, there are two amounts that people must address. The foremost is to do with what is called Habitual Reactive Thinking: the racing mind, thoughts that are intrusive, thoughts that happen over and over thoughts catastrophize, the' what' ideas, that tend to feed the anxiety. We learn just how to alter our relationship to these notions. It is not the thoughts themselves the trouble it's our relationship to these thoughts is provided by that. The way in which that we have a tendency to identify with all the ideas and just become lost in the ideas - we become prisoners of these recurring habitual thoughts, and lose conscious awareness, in effect. Mindfulness Therapy is among the best systems readily available for learning how to shift that, how to break free from that prison of reactive believing that creates the anxiety. That is one degree of Mindfulness Therapy - working with thinking.

Thus, during Mindfulness Therapy we also work on having a friendly and very positive relationship with all the center emotions themselves. We create the proper internal states that permit that center reservoir of anxiety energy to alter, to cure, to transform and also to eventually go away. So, it is a very important part of Mindfulness Therapy - learning to make friends with your emotions. Our habit, of course, is the opposite: it would be to run away from our emotions, it's to avoid them, it is to resist them, it really is to create negative aversion toward our anxiety emotions, but this just makes them stronger! Avoidance and prevents it and aversion simply strengthens the center emotion. So, during Mindfulness Therapy we learn how exactly to generate an extremely friendly, compassionate relationship with the center emotion that really allows it to treat.

Another section of the healing process for this heart emotion will be to examine its construction. What exactly is the construction of an emotion? Because the structure of emotion isn't thought this really is interesting, it is vision. Vision is the natural language of emotion. This is the reason why we might say, "I 'm feeling overwhelmed" or "I'm feeling in an extremely dark place right now" or "I am feeling trapped." These are terms that are visual. It is really how we see the emotion internally in the mind that keeps it in place and creates that emotion. So there's vision - we see it inside. During Mindfulness Therapy we inquire this imagery, we look at it in great detail and we look to observe the principal features of that imagery that keep it alive.

For example, in the event the vision is too close and too big, that's a principal component that creates the tension, or the panic. Thus, a simple measure that you can try yourself is just to transfer it farther away and to take the emotion. Frequently a simple technique like that could make enormous differences in the level of stress that you just experience, simply learning how to move it further away.

Often, intense emotions have extreme color. So, when the color alter to a muted color or to white and black, that could directly impact the level of the emotion.

So, it's by looking closely at the structure of an emotion that you could find out how it works and with this specific knowledge you can make changes.

So, this really is a brief description of the Mindfulness Therapy that I offer online, and in case you'd like to learn more on the subject of anxiety therapy online using Mindfulness Therapy, please visit my site, CounselingTherapyOnline.com, and e-mail me and then we could schedule an online therapy session via Skype to treat your stress. So, please visit my site and e-mail me. Thanks.

 Online Therapy for Depression

Depression and anxiety affect most people at some time in our own lives. For several, and estimates vary from 10-50%, these powerful emotions can take hold and reduce our happiness and energy, leaving us feeling frightened and fatigued. .. We become the casualties of these emotions

All emotions are created around a complicated network of negative beliefs and negative patterns of thinking that we get over the years that become the prison bars that keep us penned up and suffering.   We tend to blindly accept the reactions inevitable, the way things are. Our first challenge is provided by this here. Realize that we're not the ideas and emotions that appear in the mind and we must break out of this delusion ; they are simply mind items that appear due to states. Thus, in developing the craft of comprehending our reactivity, the initial step is to consider other negative ideas, emotions, worries and the reactions as objects.

Settle into your chair, take a minute to rest head and your body and begin detecting the items around you. Pick an item and examine its details. Note how you can observe the thing as it is : it exists in its space, and you also exist as the observer, finding that item. You do not have to react to the object, and the item has no power over you. In other words you've got an extremely wide and open relationship with the object, without any overlay of reactivity. This is the disposition of mindfulness and with attentive practice you'll be able to develop this same type of aware relationship with emotions and your thoughts.

This is where mindfulness becomes an invaluable tool for both the therapist as well as the client. .. Mindfulness is defined as the non-reactive present- centered awareness of an encounter. It's the art of sensitive listening, being completely present and receptive to whatever is being experienced. To the felt-sense of the emotion to cultivate this quality of presence, mindfulness is used directly in Mindfulness Meditation Therapy. We choose to make the emotion the principal objective of our meditation and our task would be to create a connection with all the emotion, with the rage or anxiety in which we allow the emotion to unfold and can discover the emotion. The aim of cultivating the mindfulness-based relationship is so that we reveal the internal arrangement that is subtle and can go to the deep inner structure from the superficial surface construction of the emotion.

As all of us know, it's what we don't see that's the greatest power over us, and this is exactly what happens with depression, anxiety and post-traumatic stress.

How to overcome Anxiety - Let a Skype Therapist Help You

General Anxiety Disorder is an extremely common ailment that affects many people at time in our own lives. At any one time it's projected that least 10 million men and women in the usa have now been identified as having GAD and are actively seeking treatment through drugs or some type of cognitive therapy.

In essence perennial anxiety is a form of intense worrying about well-being, work, fear of the future or an extensive range of situations which will happen in the long run that creates an immense number of suffering that is mental. So what can we do to control our stress levels?

It is vital to comprehend that nervousness, like the majority of emotional reactions, has a construction. The mixture of two parts: Thought constructions is not a random process but produces it, and connected Emotional Feeling Energy.

We're all acquainted with the routines of recurring negative thinking: the consideration loops that amplify and preserve worry and stress. This internal conversation may be constant and often hits us in the early hours of the morning, if we could sleep whatsoever! We become consumed about things that could never occur. But, above all, the worry thinking doesn't in any way help us deal with all the objective reality of matters that need our attention. Actually the reactive thinking makes us less able to survive, leaves us feeling drained and confused.

Certainly, the path to controlling anxiety must call for altering beliefs and these internal negative thought loops. Yet, most people find this extremely hard to do. They know in a conceptual level that the worry is not rational and never helpful and is causing them to become sick, but no amount of self -chat seems to alter the stress. This really is because there is an alternative element that is actually far more significant compared to the content of the negative ideas and beliefs: Mental Feeling Energy. This is what gives meaning and power to our thoughts, as well as in anxiety formations, big concentrations of mental energy become attached to the words or beliefs. With this understanding, we see that if we are able to find a means to release this energy that is stuck, then the ideas and beliefs will lose their power and compulsive domination of our thinking and will tend to be replaced by proper thoughts. The idea that is negative may arise out of custom, minus the mental investment, it's to go as well as in time it'll fade away.

On discharging the trapped, frozen emotional energy that has become attached to habitual thinking, focusing is one of the primary focuses of Mindfulness Therapy. This is quite important, because we cannot alter what we cannot see. Thus, we ought to make our reactions by paying really careful attention to catch them observable as and when they appear. But we switch our attention away from the information or narrative that forms the cognitive structure of the anxiety reaction to the emotional feeling quality that provides it power. This really is called "sitting together with the emotion." We learn to sit with our nervousness, without thinking and becoming caught up in reactivity that is further, or in attempting to assault the ideas that are negative. We're, actually, learning to turn our attention towards the reaction, which changes everything.

He would see his heart racing and he was obsessed that he'd pass out right there in the center of the function or demo. He was quite afraid of any new scenario and despised leaving home, hated traveling.

Instead of becoming consumed by the contents of the anxiety thinking, he learned to focus attention on the feeling itself. As he did this, he started to discover details regarding the inner structure of the feeling energy. They have never actually looked in their feelings before. Ideas about them for hours; suffered at their hands; but never actually sat down and looked at what this "feeling" really is.

What Jeff detected is that these shades felt hot, and that the concerned feeling was certainly connected with brilliant colors, with intense red and orange. He also seen the way the color appeared to take the type of a fuzzy cloud, a fog that surrounded his whole body.

This type of detail that is experiential and sensory is vital as they are tangible, and Jeff undoubtedly felt these colours resonated together with his nervousness feeling. The power that contributes to transformation is always in the details, not the abstract notions or thoughts about an emotion. When a man says, "I 'm anxious" they're merely experiencing a trivial level of the emotion and this is very hard to alter as it is so abstract. Once someone gets down to the sensory details like the color, shape and temperature of the emotion, or where it's located in the body, then they've something very particular to change and to relate to. We could experiment with making subtle alterations to the color and type of the emotion and track how things are changed by this. In the case of Jeff, he found that when he imagined encompassing the hot colored feelings that were red using the vastness of the nighttime skies the level of his tension fell to a 4 on a scale of 10. When he envisioned looking at the reddish feelings as if it were a star, the stress fell to a 2.

This easy change in his internal vision allowed the level of anxiety to alter radically, and this was followed by a significant shift in his perception of the problem as well as in his beliefs and self-confidence. The emotional transformations followed this fundamental change at the feeling level, and this really is extremely typical since the beliefs depend on feeling energy to give them power and significance. As the imagery changes you alter the feeling, so that as the feeling energy is released cognition change and the beliefs in direct proportion.

Jeff started to experience himself as the nighttime skies instead of as the hot spot of anxiety: He begins to see himself as the vast broad existence of the consciousness instead of the contracted state of emotional responses. This alters everything.

EXERCISE

1. Sit back and get comfy. Close your eyes. Allow yourself to relax and practice fundamental mindfulness of breathing to steady the mind.

2. Open the subject of your awareness until it feels just like a big space.

3. Introduce a tension emotion into this space and experiment with only sitting with it as you'll with a friend: looking and listening very attentively with an open mind and interest.

4. Get the color that best fits the feeling.

5. With encompassing that color with a different color experiment. Try the exact color that is opposite first and see the shift in feeling intensity of the stress.

6. Develop this imagery and attempt other changes in motion, location and size.

7. Continue tracking the change in intensity on a 1 -10 scale. Open your eyes and take a rest before returning for another round, when the nervousness has reduced by at least 50%.

8. Duplicate the entire process 5 to 10 times for 3 to 4 days. Discover how your perceptions change daily.

Now it's easier to do this having a skilled mindfulness therapist, however you will likely be surprised at how quickly things change once you get to the comprehensive sensory level, made possible through concentrated mindfulness.

Please e-mail me in case you see some effects that are especially remarkable that you would like to share and describe your findings. You can even try this having a buddy, when you can find someone willing to listen and supply that cognizant presence that is indeed vital with this transformational process besides working with a therapist.
