3. Introduce an anxiety emotion into this space and experiment with only sitting with it as you would with a friend: looking and listening really attentively with interest and an open mind.

4. Find the shade that best matches the feeling.

6. Develop this imagery and attempt other changes in motion, location and size.

This easy change in his internal vision allowed the level of anxiety to alter radically, and this was followed by a significant shift in his perception of the problem as well as in his beliefs and self-confidence.
