We need to establish a mindfulness relationship with this core emotion, whatever it is, and it is by doing that that we create the right conditions in which it can heal.
When we get lost in reactivity, reactive thinking, that has the effect of inhibiting healing. But, when we are able to form a compassionate and conscious relationship with our core emotions then those emotions begin to heal. So, this is a very important second part of Mindfulness Therapy.
