My name is Peter Strong, and I am an online psychotherapist.
Most people much prefer online psychotherapy because it is so much more convenient, because you can make your therapy call from home rather than having to visit a therapist in his or her office. The other advantage of online therapy is that it's generally considerably less intimidating for you as the client. It feels much more comfortable for you, and that's very important because the more comfortable you feel the better will be the outcome from your therapy sessions.

The type of therapy that I offer is called Mindfulness Therapy, and this works very well over the internet. That's because it's based on teaching you very specific practical techniques for working with your emotions,  anxiety or depression or OCD or an addiction. What I find most clients  need are practical methods for working with their emotions by themselves, between sessions, and that's what I focus on teaching during these online psychotherapy sessions.

Another reason why people like to see a therapist online is because they may want greater anonymity than they may find in their local community. They don't necessarily want to talk to a local counselor. So, greater privacy is also an advantage of online counseling.

So, if you would like to talk to a therapist online, please visit my website, CounselingTherapyOnline.com and send me an email so we can discuss whether online psychotherapy is a good choice for you, and then we can schedule a Skype therapy session. All you need is Skype and PayPal and an internet connection and you are ready to start. It's very easy to get started with online therapy. I look forward to hearing from you. Thank you!
